Amani Sawari (she/her) is a Senior Policy Advisor with Masa Group. Amani has a deep extensive background working with marginalized communities impacted by the prison industrial complex.

Her expertise is at the intersection of criminal justice transformation and voting rights with experience as directing Justice Services at a national organization establishing programs in county jails to assist eligible voters with participating in their local elections via absentee ballot while incarcerated.

She has a B.A. in Law Economics and Public Policy from the University of Washington.
