Electoral Scenario Planning & Immigration Advocacy

This 1.5 hour training is designed to equip non-profit partners with strategies to protect immigrant interests at the federal legislative and regulatory levels through scenario and contingency planning. We will explore two key scenarios—a Harris election and a Trump re-election—and several variation scenarios. This training will cover multiple executive and legislative electoral scenarios and their potential impact on immigration advocacy.

Key topics include the impact of different electoral scenarios on key issues like: (a) filibuster reform; (b) the Congressional Review Act; (c) NPRM & APA-related strategies; (d) litigation; (d) must-pass legislative vehicles; (e) congressional oversight; (f) budget, appropriations, and budget reconciliation; and more. We will also provide a recording of the training and materials and resources to registered attendees outlining the key points of the presentation. The training is hosted by Masa Group.
