Geoffrey Louden

Geoffrey Louden (he/him) is a Managing Policy Counsel with Masa Group. Geoffrey’s work for clients includes regulatory, legislative, and appropriations advocacy. He currently leads the firm’s engagements with Human Rights First, the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration, Justice in Motion, and the Legalization Project. His previous clients at the firm include the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA), the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC), NAKASEC, and Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC)

In addition to leading these portfolios, Geoffrey coordinated the #DED4DACA Campaign, which advocated for the use of Deferred Enforced Departure to protect from removal of DACA-eligible individuals in the event of an adverse judicial decision.

Outside of work, Geoffrey volunteers with PRISM, a community group for LGBTQ asylum seekers at AsylumWorks and previously Center Global at the DC Center for the LGBTQ Community. Geoffrey has worked in Congress, the executive branch, and the federal courts. He attended the University of Miami Law School where he received his J.D. and the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, where he received his B.A.
