Coalition Management

We offer coalition management services, including identifying, developing, and managing coalitions around specific policy areas or topics. For foundations that are providing support to a diversity of stakeholders that would benefit from having an experienced hand to support and assist them in developing a framework for an ongoing and recurring coalition of stakeholders (including recurring engagements, mapping out strategy, identifying stakeholders, general advocacy, and logistics) Masa Group can offer training, capacity building, and other support services. Masa Group's coalition management services enable stakeholders to better collaborate with each other and maximize foundation support in desired issue areas. Combined with our Policy Support or Policy Campaign services, Masa Group can also lead the development of coalition products and deliverables.

Portfolio Support, Technical Assistance, and Capacity Building

Masa Group has extensive experience in conducting legislative, regulatory, and administrative policy advocacy, as well as training others to conduct their own policy advocacy. Masa Group works with foundations and their grantees to increase institutional knowledge and expertise in a variety of policy advocacy, communications, and operations work. When working with a foundation or grantee, Masa Group provides an assessment of current skills, makes recommendations, and creates a strategy for execution. We are also able to support the organization by training staff members as necessary. Overall, these services help foundations and their grantees be more effective, more streamlined, and utilize their resources more efficiently.
