#Service4DACA Campaign

This campaign is in partnership with Donald Graham, veteran and co-founder of TheDream.US, the nation’s largest college access and success program for DREAMers, to reopen military enlistment to those with a temporary status or deferred action who wish to join. Certain policy guidance from the U.S. Department of Defense and the subsequent changes to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) have effectively ended the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program, the sole pathway to enlistment and later naturalization for recipients of DACA and TPS.

  • NGO Letter to Administration Regarding Military Enlistment to Recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

    This letter was drafted in partnership with VoteVets and was lead by TheDream.US Co-founder Donald Graham, former Secretary of the Army Louis Caldera, and Major General (Ret.) Paul Eaton. The letter outlines arguments supporting military enlistment for recipients of DACA and TPS. It was signed by more than thirty national and state organizations.
