Best Practices for Immigration Policy Advocacy
This 90-minute virtual training covered best practices for engaging in federal immigration policy advocacy. The training discussed best practices on conceptualizing and managing immigration policy campaigns; mapping out and utilizing advocacy tools; executive and legislative outreach; identifying government contacts; and communications (including social media and traditional media).
This training was geared for beginner to intermediate policy advocates and organizations who want to better understand how to more comprehensively and successfully engage in advocacy. Training also included access to “Campaign in a Box,” a comprehensive toolkit containing templates and samples for engaging in policy advocacy. The training was hosted by Masa Group LLC; NP Agency conducted the communications portion of the training.
